This strain relief bushing fastens and protects securely cables and wires. To install, the bushing hinged halves are simply folded over the wire or cable, this eliminates fatigue assembly steps. No special orientation or alignment is necessary (patented). This tough nylon bushing meets all Underwriters Laboratories stringent pull-out and temperature specifications, and meets Canadian Standards Association Requirements as it is molded of heat stabilized nylon UL94V2 black. Conventional strain relief pliers are applied to the specially designed gripped grooves and the bushing is inserted and locked in place in one smooth motion. The design of the part incorporates a bullet shaped nose to facilitate its insertion.
