The TAZ family represents the female support designed to integrate directly and efficiently with the closure devices of the TAB and TAE families.
Its function is to act as a fixed housing, serving as the mechanical receptacle on which the opening-closing action takes place, ensuring secure anchoring, proper alignment, and reliable operation of the assembly.

The TAB closing device is a simple and effective system designed for the retention and locking of panels or covers, widely used in industrial, electrical and technical furniture applications. Its compact design allows fast and secure assembly, even in reduced spaces.

Manufactured in polyamide (PA6 or PA12), it offers excellent mechanical strength and fatigue resistance, as well as high dimensional stability against temperature and humidity variations. PA12 versions provide greater impact resistance and improved performance outdoors or in high-humidity environments, while PA6 stands out for its rigidity and optimized cost.

Most references can be supplied open or closed, depending on assembly needs. In the closed position, the device ensures a firm and permanent lock; in the open position, it allows quick pre-assembly and easy handling before the final closure.

Available in various dimensions to suit different panel thicknesses and application requirements.

Main features
• Material: PA6 or PA12
• High mechanical strength and durability
• Excellent behaviour against chemical and environmental agents
• Fast assembly without special tools
• Available open or closed
• Various sizes and opening/closing forces (Newtons) available

Typical applications
• Closure of housings, panels or protective covers
• Electrical, electronic and ventilation equipment
• Technical furniture, display systems or modular structures
• Fast assembly solutions in series production

The TAE is a closing device for panels and surfaces that, in addition to finishing and covering the hole, includes an electrical status signal. With a single component, it both closes access and informs the system whether the cover is open or closed.

Operation
It is press-fitted into the panel hole. When the cover or associated element is actuated, the TAE opens or closes the signal circuit. This signal can be sent to a PLC, control board, or indicator (pilot light, alarm, enable signal). The electrical configuration acts according to the state (NO/NC), functioning as a circuit break detector and serving as a safety element to prevent injuries when accessing specific zones or parts of equipment, or as an energy-saving element by deactivating unnecessary loads.

Advantages
• Closing + electrical signal in one component.
• Quick installation, no tools required.
• Avoids external microswitches or sensors.
• Circuit break detector.
• Safety and/or energy-saving function.
• Clean and professional panel finish.

Applications
• HVAC and ventilation systems (inspection hatches, dampers, filters)
• Industrial machinery with access covers or panels
• Electronic devices and control panels
• Situations where it is necessary to know the open/closed status of a service point
