The innovative PRPRC cable glands, manufactured in accordance with DIN EN 62444 / 50262, feature a laminar sealing system and lateral micro-holes that enable ventilation, heat dissipation and pressure equalization inside the equipment.
They are equipped with an internal oleophobic and hydrophobic membrane made of PTFE, which ensures continuous ventilation and effective pressure equalization. This technology helps prevent moisture and condensation build-up, limiting undesirable temperature increases. It also provides better protection against corrosion, extending the service life of the equipment. The membrane's properties are not affected by the cable diameter or its torsion.
They are made of Nylon 6 (PA6) and include:A flat O-ring made of NBR.
An internal cylindrical seal made of Chloroprene (CR) for the laminar sealing system.
Available with metric thread according to EN 60423 in sizes M12 / M16 / M20, and in the following colours: RAL 9005 (Black) / RAL 7001 (Dark Grey) / RAL 7035 (Light Grey). All are UV-resistant (F1 according to UL 746C).
