Our SZO pre-assembled cable is designed for quick, safe and reliable connections and extensions in photovoltaic installations. It is supplied with Stäubli MC4 or Stäubli MC4-EVO 2 connectors and standard SOLAR CONNECTOR, with cable cross-sections of 4 and 6 mm².
· Voltage: MC4 up to 1100 V DC; MC4-EVO 2 and SOLAR CONNECTOR up to 1500 V DC
· UL94: UL94-V0 for all three connectors
· IP: SOLAR CONNECTOR IP68; MC4 and MC4-EVO 2 IP65/IP68 mated and IP2X unmated
· Other certifications: SOLAR CONNECTOR: IEC 62852 and UL 6703; MC4: TÜV Rheinland, UL, CSA and JET; MC4-EVO 2: IEC 62852:2014+Amd.1:2020, UL, CSA and JET
According to NEC 2023, MC4 and MC4-EVO 2 require a tool for opening. MC4-EVO 2 must not be disconnected under load. For further technical information on each connector, please refer to the family general drawing.
