Our MPRWA flexible locking cable strain reliefs are designed to protect cables in electrical and electronic equipment. They absorb push, pull and torsional forces applied to the cable, preventing them from being transmitted to the internal connections. The integral spring guides the cable through a smooth bend, preventing sharp kinks and extending cable life.
The self-locking design allows the strain reliefs to snap onto the cable before final installation, reducing assembly time and installation costs. They can then be installed manually without tools. Multiple locking steps accommodate a wide range of panel thicknesses. Available for round or flat cables depending on the version.
The system can be installed in two mounting hole configurations, depending on the required level of retention:
· A: the mounting hole allows the part to rotate.
· A × B: the part is locked into the mounting hole, preventing rotation.
· Material: PA66 (Polyamide 66)
· Operating temperature: -18 °C to +105 °C
· Flammability: UL94-V2, self-extinguishing
· Approvals: UR and CSA
